Dr. Rebecca Bliss, Co-Owner

Becky Bliss, PT, DPT, DHSc is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the Department of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Science, and Athletic Training. She is the course coordinator and lead instructor with over two decades of clinical experience, Becky brings a deep passion for neurological rehabilitation, specializing in concussion management since 2006. She is board-certified in Neurological Physical Therapy and currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the University of Missouri’s Neurological Physical Therapy Residency.  

Becky is a certified specialist in Neurological Rehabilitation and holds both a Certificate and Advanced Certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation from the APTA and is an active contributor to the Academy of Neurological Physical Therapy and APTA Concussion CPG Committees. She also provides expert mentorship nationally through the Missouri Telehealth Network’s Concussion ECHO program. 

Learners will benefit from Becky’s dedication to translating research into practice—her clinical interests focus on implementing best practices in concussion care and identifying subtle neuromotor deficits that often go undetected in standard exams. Her teaching style is informed by real-world experience and a commitment to advancing evidence-based care in neurological physical therapy. 

 

Dr. Alexander Peters, Instructor

Alex Peters, PT, DPT, ATC is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist and the owner of Impulse Physical Therapy in Buffalo, NY, where he provides expert care for individuals with orthopedic and sports-related injuries. With a strong foundation in both clinical practice and education, Alex completed his Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, treating athletes of all ages across a wide range of sports. 

In addition to his clinical work, Alex is an adjunct professor in the Kinesiology Department at Canisius University—his alma mater—where he also collaborates with their NCAA Division I athletics program to guide post-surgical rehabilitation and return-to-sport decision-making. His clinical research is conducted in partnership with the University at Buffalo Concussion Management Clinic, further expanding his impact in the field of sport-related concussion. 

Alex remains active as an athletic trainer, providing sideline care and medical coverage for mass participation events. His professional interests include sport-related concussion, ACL rehabilitation, pediatric sports medicine, performance testing, and cultivating critical thinking in clinical practice. Learners will benefit from his dynamic, evidence-informed approach and dedication to advancing care for athletes at every level. 

 

Dr. Andrew Teare-Ketter, Instructor

Andrew Teare-Ketter, PT, DPT is a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist who brings extensive expertise in concussion, vestibular, and cervical spine rehabilitation. He currently serves as a physical therapist for the University of Georgia’s Athletic Association, where he provides specialized care to collegiate athletes. Andrew also leads an outpatient concussion clinic at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, treating a wide range of vestibular and neurologic conditions in both athletic and community populations.  

A dynamic national speaker, Andrew frequently presents on concussion management and has consulted with the NCAA and Southeastern Conference on best practices for athlete care. He completed a Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency at the Shepherd Center and Mercer University in Atlanta, gaining advanced training in brain injury rehabilitation and orthopedic spinal management.  

In addition to his clinical roles, Andrew is an adjunct professor at Mercer University’s Physical Therapy Department, contributing to the neurologic curriculum. His clinical and research interests include concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, cervical spine care, whiplash-associated disorders, pain science, and the treatment of persistent post-concussive symptoms. Learners will benefit from Andrew’s integrated approach that blends neurological, orthopedic, and pain science principles to optimize recovery and performance. 

 

William Bliss, Co-Owner

Bill Bliss is a retired U.S. Army Aviation Officer and IT professional with over two decades of experience in leadership, systems management, and technical training. He holds a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from St. Bonaventure University and currently provides technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business operations. With a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, and end-user support, Bill specializes in building digital solutions and delivering behind-the-scenes IT support that powers organizational success.
